Chartreusin is an antitumor antibiotic that binds to GC-rich tracts in DNA, with a clear preference for B-DNA over Z-DNA. Chartreusin is also a potent inhibitor of topoisomerase II.
Chartreusin is soluble ethanol, methanol, DMF and DMSO.

Mechanism of Action
